Acceptable Use Policy
Effective June 24, 2026
1. Permitted use
The Platform is intended for legitimate business use. Vendors may list and offer lawful professional services. Clients may search for, engage, and pay Vendors for lawful projects. Both parties must interact honestly and in good faith.
2. All users
Every user of the Platform — Vendor or Client — must not:
Illegal activities
- Use the Platform for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international law;
- Facilitate or promote illegal goods, services, or activities;
- Engage in fraud, misrepresentation, or deceptive practices of any kind.
Harmful content
- Post content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against any individual or group;
- Send harassing, threatening, or abusive messages to other users;
- Share content that exploits or endangers minors.
Platform integrity
- Attempt to circumvent the Platform by soliciting or accepting direct off-platform engagements for Projects that originated through KibaPay, during the Project and for 12 months after completion;
- Create fake accounts, reviews, or ratings;
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or platform systems without authorisation;
- Introduce malware, bots, scrapers, or other automated tools that interfere with the Platform.
Intellectual property
- Post portfolio work, proposals, or deliverables that infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right;
- Use KibaPay branding or trademarks without express written permission.
Privacy
- Share another user's personal or confidential information outside the Platform without consent;
- Use contact information obtained through the Platform for purposes unrelated to the Project.
3. Vendor-specific obligations
- Accurately represent skills, experience, qualifications, and portfolio on your Vendor profile;
- Only offer services you are genuinely qualified and capable of delivering;
- Disclose any conflicts of interest or limitations that would affect your ability to complete a Project;
- Not offer or perform services prohibited by the Prohibited Activities policy through the Platform.
4. Client-specific obligations
- Accurately describe project requirements, goals, and constraints when briefing Vendors;
- Not request deliverables that infringe third-party rights or constitute prohibited content;
- Provide timely feedback and approvals as required by the agreed project timeline;
- Pay Vendor fees on time in accordance with the agreed payment schedule.
5. Prohibited service categories
Vendors may not list, and Clients may not request, services in categories that are prohibited under the Prohibited Activities policy, including services intended to facilitate illegal activity, produce harmful content, or deceive end users.
6. Consequences of violation
KibaPay may, at its discretion and without prior notice:
- Issue a warning or require corrective action;
- Suspend or permanently remove the account;
- Cancel active Projects and issue applicable refunds in accordance with the Refund Policy;
- Report the activity to relevant authorities where required by law.
7. Reporting violations
To report a user or content that violates this policy, contact compliance@kibapay.net. Reports are treated confidentially.
8. Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by a revised effective date.
